Creating A Foundation

Establishing a robust foundation for mental well-being and crafting a life worth living requires a strategic plan. However, the construction of this plan differs from conventional forward-thinking approaches, where we determine what, where, when, how, and why. This plan employs a technique known as back casting.

Back casting starts with identifying your “Why”—the core reason why you aspire to live a life worth living. Once you have defined your why, you can work backwards to determine your what, when, how, and where. Since the future is unpredictable and the journey toward mental health has no definitive endpoint, we must continuously adapt and discover the techniques, skills, and experiences that will help us achieve a fulfilling life.
