Light in the void

light in the void

This is an image from the Jewish museum in Berlin; it is called the void.  With the ray of light in the top corner, the idea of finding hope in the darkness is an inspiration in the group.  Today we talked about the overwhelming despair of the dark places, and how we might find that corner of hope when the brain is aware only of the tumultous thoughts.

We welcomed Simon Hay as a guest today.  He is a financial inclusion worker and part of the ‘Recovery Essentials Project’ providing financial and budgeting support.  The group were relieved that such an approachable and much needed service is now freely available and so easily accessible.
